Me and my Brother |

I like swimming in all my clothes.
When I go the pool I let my friends throw me in fully clothed in my jeans, t-shirt and jumper,
sometimes jacket too and sport shoes and socks.
I can swim well in shoes.
Dion and Jordan sometimes hold me under the shower with all my clothes on to get me soaking wet.
Then they throw me into the pool still dressed in wet clothes.
Sometimes they jump in with their clothes on and swim with me.
That is always great fun, all of us splashing around fully clothed for an hour or so.
Afterwards we run for the showers.
My kid brother Ryan sometimes comes to the pool with me.
He is two years younger and looks a bit like me, cheeky happy smiley face.
He likes swimming in his clothes too.
When we get there we ask at the counter if we can swim in our clothes,
they just look at us and smile and say: "Go on, boys."
We go into the pool area, empty our pockets and wave and smile to the lifeguard who smiles and waves back.
We sometimes have to shower in our clothes first to rinse them before going in the pool if they ask us to,
depends who's on the counter.
I sometimes throw Ryan into the pool with his clothes on,
but he normally just dives in fully clothed, shoes and all, or does a back-flip in.
He sometimes pushes me into the pool in my clothes when I'm still dry.
We like swimming together in our clothes.
When we're done we get out and shower with our clothes on to rinse them and walk home all wet.
Ryan tells us his story
I remember when my brother and I were 12 and 14. I'm the younger brother.
Around that time I had started to get wet a lot with my clothes on.
Usually, I just jumped in, unless my brother was quicker and threw me in.
My brother often joined me in the water, but not always.
When I was 10 years old I had a number of true accidents, falling into the lake with all my clothes on.
At that age, I didn't quite like soaking my clothes,
but appearantly, my brother did and he quite frequently pushed me into the water,
only to get a good laugh when I got up all soaking wet.
As I got home more and more often soaked to the skin,
my parents suspected I got wet on purpose, which I wasn't at the time.
The first time I got wet twice the same day was a few days after my 11th birthday.
My brother threw me in the first time and I went home to change clothes.
The second time, I actually jumped in on my own for the very first time, and I was instantly hooked.
From then on, I soaked myself more or less daily, and often two or three times a day.
I always had a change or two of clothes drying up.
I loved the commotion it caused when I faked an accidental dunk into the swimming pool,
or the stares I got when I just jumped into a lake.

Your postings make me smile.
It's encouraging to see that youngsters can enjoy themselves in such a harmless way today.
Continue in that fashion, and you will help set the moral standard for the rest of society,
besides reassuring yourself that what you are doing is quite right.
At the same time, you should be aware that not everyone believes in having the same kind of fun, so act wisely.
Should you one day decide to get into politics,
I'd advise any British friends to vote for you (I'm not British myself, so I can't follow my own advice, sorry).
Join and run for the Pool Party (wet)!
I'm a generation above your age, but I feel confident leaving the future into the hands of fun-loving people like you,
whatever your choice of profession.
Now, if everything in your pockets were waterproof and stayed put, you wouldn't have to worry about emptying them.
I predict that in 2017, nine kids out of ten will have a waterproof cellphone that floats.
I have high hopes for the future. Cheers!
